There are large, patch pockets and a draped hood to keep you warm and toasty. A front separating zipper allows this poncho to also be used as a shawl.

The “tide pool” name indicates that this style has approximately 4’ of fabric taken out of the width of the poncho. This makes for a narrower poncho, with less fullness than the other ponchos. It is also a shorter length, measuring approximately 22" from neck to hem.

The sleeve area is turned up with a buttonhole in the seam, so that the length can be changed to any preferred length by moving the button. The buttons on this poncho are made from coconut shell.

This poncho has been garment dyed by hand, using a low impact dye. The process of dyeing pre-shrinks the fabric, which is then machine washed and dried. It is advised to launder with like colors in case of any bleeding of the dye.
