The dolphin design was inspired by being able to watch the dolphins play off the coast at the local beaches. The applique is hand stitched, with markings for the fins and embroidered eye. The background hand stitched echo quilting ripples out from the dolphin. The back matches the applique color with ceramic dolphin buttons, so that the cover can be removed for laundering. The pillow insert is custom-made using 100% organic cotton muslin, filled with organic kapok.
