The Walnut leaves pillow was inspired by a tree in my backyard. The applique sage fabric is a hemp and cotton blend that is hand cut, and hand sewn with veining on the leaves to give it texture. Then the background is then hand quilted using a echo quilting technique, inspired by Hawaiian traditional quilting. The back of the pillow matches the applique fabric with buttons, so that the cover can be removed for laundering. The pillow insert is custom made using 100% organic cotton muslin, filled with organic kapok. 

There is another oversize pillow with a larger Walnut leaves design.
