This grey blue background fabric is 100% organic voile, a soft lightweight fabric reminiscence of our coastal fog that rolls in. The Monstera leaf fabric is 55% hemp and 45% organic cotton, hand appliqued to the background, with echo quilting around the leaf. The reverse side of the pillow is the same voile fabric with buttons, so that the cover can be removed for laundering. Because the voile will wrinkle after washing and will need to be pressed to smooth the back. I have found that this fabric responds best when I used soap nuts for laundering.The pillow insert is custom made to fit this pillow, using 100% organic cotton muslin, filled with organic kapok.
